Welcome to our web site.

The principal aim of the centre is to treat people with intellectual disability, who suffer from mental health problems.  

The centre has two psychiatrists employed. They conduct examinations, make diagnoses, maintain the medicial treatment of the patients in the region of Middle Jutland and give council to the staff working with people with intellectual disability.

The centre also has three psychologists employed. The psychologists of the centre conduct therapeutical conversations with people with intellectual disabilities, they perform psychological tests and they offer supervision for staff groups working with people with intellectual disabilities.

Furthermore the centre has an information worker and two journalists working with the distribution of knowledge. The communication group is responsible for the website, the quarterly magazine ViPU Viden and the planning of course and conference activities.
